Yes. We always hope for shine, but rain is a possibility. The show will be cancelled in the event of severe weather conditions. Severe weather includes dangerously heavy wind, lightning, rain or any other weather condition that may jeopardize the safety of vendors or customers. If cancelled, unfortunately there will be no rain date.
Not all vendors are from Hopewell, and you do not need to be a resident of Hopewell to apply. Makers from near and far are encouraged to apply.
No food is served at the event but there are a variety of fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Please check them out!

The application period typically opens late October, with applications due early February. See the Apply tab in the Navigation Pane, above. This show is juried, which means we review all applicants for type and quality of work to ensure a great mix of different mediums. The jury period ends mid-February and artists are notified.

You can begin setting up as early as 8am. The street will be blocked from vehicular access before, during and after the show. Be prepared to bring your supplies down the road to and from your vehicle. After set-up, we encourage artists to park a few block away, leaving the closer parking for the customers.
The artist who applied and was accepted MUST be present during the show. This includes booth shares, both artists must be present.
You will get a 10'x10' space in the street, along the curb. You must supply your own tent, tables, and any other materials required for your individual booth. There is no electric for use.
If you are coming alone, we have volunteers that can sit in your booth if you need to use the restroom or grab some food during the show.
